Wi-Fi in the Sky Review

Well Victorious is the best current running show on television today, but this episode was garbage. It breaks my hear to say that about anything with Victoria but I can not be honest and unbias and say otherwise. And up until now I did not think anything with Victoria could go wrong, but I can say for sure she had nothing to do with why this was bad. So here begins my rant.

First of all, they never said where they were flying home from. It does make you wonder.

The episode was basically a review of the show so far:

1. Trina's obnoxious attitude
2. Chiz-the German Sausage (actually I think German sausage is called Bratwurst)
3. Andres grandmother afraid of everything.
4. Kat living in her own world (more on that in a bit)
5. Pimples
6. Jade jealous with Beck

Now to elaborate on point 4. Kat's "in her own world" character was amusing to start with, but now it is getting out of control to the point where it is annoying. One thing they need to do for season 2 is reinvent this character. Otherwise, she will not last on the show. That would be a shame because Ariana has so much potential.

I was expecting Perez Hilton's appearance to be a plus, but it was useless. And then they never finished their assignment. The episode ended abruptly.

Dan is my favorite producer but was he drunk or something. For such a great producer I can't believe this episode was made on his watch.

Big Time Concert Review

Big Time Concert was 100% flawless and then some. When I knew of the hostage plot before the fact, my expectation was that it would be unoriginal but action packed, which is a feature I always find satisfying. But my expectations were way surpassed. The hostage only took up a small fraction of the movie and the plot was very detailed. The return to Minnesota, the street team effort, the sister designing the posters and so forth all took it over the top. Not to mention you can't go wrong with Erin Sanders, and I know I say that about every episode she is in but she does deserve a compliment at every opportunity. This movie is worthy of being in the same breath as Spectacular and Degrassi goes Hollywood.

As for the post movie concert, good but not long enough. These guys are great musicians as I have said before. And it is a big deal for me to say that about a non country act.

Now I set the recorder to record The Troop while I was working but it did not record for some reason. I am sure it was good with the villain Gus back. As Bruce said previously, they need an enemy with personality. Exactly what they intend to do with this show is beyond me. They have a new episode every week whereas the other shows usually have weeks between new episodes. My initial thought would be they are trying to cram the show down our throats. But what seems to debunk that thought is that they have moved the show to the middle of they day, away from the more popular shows. Maybe they are trying to sabotage the show by putting new episodes on when no one is watching. I don't know. As I have said before, this show is good for what it is but I would not be sad to see it go. I was sad when they pulled the plug on the mermaids.

Okay, I am getting ready to watch the repeat of Big Time Concert. It is that good.

True Jackson, VP Review 8/7

Well tonights episode was above average. I liked the subplot better than the main plot. Another Maddigan flashback. I have noticed that those are frequent in True Jackson episodes. Is there anything this character has not done?

Well the advertisement for the Big Time Rush movie gave away too much of the plot. They should have kept the hostage part a secret.

In watching a repeat of "Jade Dumps Beck," I noticed that the windows of the RV were not tinted like in "Trapped in an RV." As a professor once wrote on my term paper, "be consistant."

Nick Review 7/31

Ok I am back from the northwoods, where I had a satalite dish but no internet.

iCarly was great. I noticed that Gibby is now credited in the main cast. I should have known that was inevitable. And Sam Jumping on Freddie puts Seddie back on the table. Not the best iCarly episode ever but still a great one.

I could not cath The Troop, not even a repeat. So it has dodged my bullet.

Big Time Rush was awesome. Of course, you can't go wrong with Erin playing a big role. The City is ours is a great song. Big Time Rush is not your typical Backstreet Boys type of group that only girls like and guys don't care for. Or maybe that is just me because I actually like thier music. It is not just great to listen to but their lyrics are inspiring, as are the lyrics from the Victorious theme. It is just the Inspiration I need as I prepare to compete in the Colgate Country Showdown this Sunday

The Troop Review 7/24

Well The Troop was nicely action packed, which I liked. Just one thing lacking. As Bruce suggested, they need enemies with personalities.

Adventures in Babysitting observations

Okay I actually absorbed the plot this time. Good movie, especially for taking you back to those innocent 80s, if the 80s are indeed your days of innocence. I wander id the babysitting blues is where Dan got the idea of gummy worm blues for Zoey 101. Well who cares? This is what you call a good movie.

The Troop Review 7/17

Only one new episode this week and that was The Troop. And it was on at such a random time in the middle of the day. I wonder if they got the idea of the hspital being built on the Indian grave yard from the first Simpsons Halloween special. Well the show is good for what it is: a mimic of Ghostbusters. I know I have said that countless times but it is true.

Well there is a Big Time Rush movie coming up. I hope Erin is in it. I am not sure where exactly this show is going and how long it will last but the guys are good singers and I wish only the best for Erin.

Nick will show the movie Adventures in Babysitting tomorrow (Sunday) night. I remember seeing that movie about two decades ago. All I really remember of it is the Chicago scenery (as I am a Chicagoan). I never really paid attention to the plot. I will record it--as I will be out when it is on giving a sermon on the book of Hebrews--to see what exactly I missed. But I think I can safely say you might want to see it if you have not seen it before.
