Wi-Fi in the Sky Review

Well Victorious is the best current running show on television today, but this episode was garbage. It breaks my hear to say that about anything with Victoria but I can not be honest and unbias and say otherwise. And up until now I did not think anything with Victoria could go wrong, but I can say for sure she had nothing to do with why this was bad. So here begins my rant.

First of all, they never said where they were flying home from. It does make you wonder.

The episode was basically a review of the show so far:

1. Trina's obnoxious attitude
2. Chiz-the German Sausage (actually I think German sausage is called Bratwurst)
3. Andres grandmother afraid of everything.
4. Kat living in her own world (more on that in a bit)
5. Pimples
6. Jade jealous with Beck

Now to elaborate on point 4. Kat's "in her own world" character was amusing to start with, but now it is getting out of control to the point where it is annoying. One thing they need to do for season 2 is reinvent this character. Otherwise, she will not last on the show. That would be a shame because Ariana has so much potential.

I was expecting Perez Hilton's appearance to be a plus, but it was useless. And then they never finished their assignment. The episode ended abruptly.

Dan is my favorite producer but was he drunk or something. For such a great producer I can't believe this episode was made on his watch.

Big Time Concert Review

Big Time Concert was 100% flawless and then some. When I knew of the hostage plot before the fact, my expectation was that it would be unoriginal but action packed, which is a feature I always find satisfying. But my expectations were way surpassed. The hostage only took up a small fraction of the movie and the plot was very detailed. The return to Minnesota, the street team effort, the sister designing the posters and so forth all took it over the top. Not to mention you can't go wrong with Erin Sanders, and I know I say that about every episode she is in but she does deserve a compliment at every opportunity. This movie is worthy of being in the same breath as Spectacular and Degrassi goes Hollywood.

As for the post movie concert, good but not long enough. These guys are great musicians as I have said before. And it is a big deal for me to say that about a non country act.

Now I set the recorder to record The Troop while I was working but it did not record for some reason. I am sure it was good with the villain Gus back. As Bruce said previously, they need an enemy with personality. Exactly what they intend to do with this show is beyond me. They have a new episode every week whereas the other shows usually have weeks between new episodes. My initial thought would be they are trying to cram the show down our throats. But what seems to debunk that thought is that they have moved the show to the middle of they day, away from the more popular shows. Maybe they are trying to sabotage the show by putting new episodes on when no one is watching. I don't know. As I have said before, this show is good for what it is but I would not be sad to see it go. I was sad when they pulled the plug on the mermaids.

Okay, I am getting ready to watch the repeat of Big Time Concert. It is that good.

True Jackson, VP Review 8/7

Well tonights episode was above average. I liked the subplot better than the main plot. Another Maddigan flashback. I have noticed that those are frequent in True Jackson episodes. Is there anything this character has not done?

Well the advertisement for the Big Time Rush movie gave away too much of the plot. They should have kept the hostage part a secret.

In watching a repeat of "Jade Dumps Beck," I noticed that the windows of the RV were not tinted like in "Trapped in an RV." As a professor once wrote on my term paper, "be consistant."

Nick Review 7/31

Ok I am back from the northwoods, where I had a satalite dish but no internet.

iCarly was great. I noticed that Gibby is now credited in the main cast. I should have known that was inevitable. And Sam Jumping on Freddie puts Seddie back on the table. Not the best iCarly episode ever but still a great one.

I could not cath The Troop, not even a repeat. So it has dodged my bullet.

Big Time Rush was awesome. Of course, you can't go wrong with Erin playing a big role. The City is ours is a great song. Big Time Rush is not your typical Backstreet Boys type of group that only girls like and guys don't care for. Or maybe that is just me because I actually like thier music. It is not just great to listen to but their lyrics are inspiring, as are the lyrics from the Victorious theme. It is just the Inspiration I need as I prepare to compete in the Colgate Country Showdown this Sunday

The Troop Review 7/24

Well The Troop was nicely action packed, which I liked. Just one thing lacking. As Bruce suggested, they need enemies with personalities.

Adventures in Babysitting observations

Okay I actually absorbed the plot this time. Good movie, especially for taking you back to those innocent 80s, if the 80s are indeed your days of innocence. I wander id the babysitting blues is where Dan got the idea of gummy worm blues for Zoey 101. Well who cares? This is what you call a good movie.

The Troop Review 7/17

Only one new episode this week and that was The Troop. And it was on at such a random time in the middle of the day. I wonder if they got the idea of the hspital being built on the Indian grave yard from the first Simpsons Halloween special. Well the show is good for what it is: a mimic of Ghostbusters. I know I have said that countless times but it is true.

Well there is a Big Time Rush movie coming up. I hope Erin is in it. I am not sure where exactly this show is going and how long it will last but the guys are good singers and I wish only the best for Erin.

Nick will show the movie Adventures in Babysitting tomorrow (Sunday) night. I remember seeing that movie about two decades ago. All I really remember of it is the Chicago scenery (as I am a Chicagoan). I never really paid attention to the plot. I will record it--as I will be out when it is on giving a sermon on the book of Hebrews--to see what exactly I missed. But I think I can safely say you might want to see it if you have not seen it before.

7 secrets of Big Time Rush

Well it was boring. The Keke one was more interesting but of course the Miranda one was even better. Surely they will soon come out with a Victoria one and maybe a Jennette one.

Hottest night on Nick Review

Those Ghanaians are a bunch of cheats! They fake injuries to win soccer games. And that was the worst officiating I have seen in my life. Fortunately there was an awesome night of new Nick episodes to make me feel better.

I am assuming they canned The Troop. If so, I have no hard feelings about it.

iCarly continues to rock even amidst Victorious.

All I can say for Big Time Rush is Go Erin! Go Erin! Go Erin!

Victorious was of course awesome. Possible the most awesome episode ever but it is a close call.

Why did my least favorite show in the line up have to be the last one? Well it was very original. I don't think they ever made a Christmas movie where a kid got his tongue stuck to a flagpole. I do not remember seeing any classic movie where someone asks for a broomstick as a condition for a favor. And there was never a Zoey 101 episode where Zoey had to do a favor for one person in order to do a favor for another person in order to do a favor for another person and on and on in order for someone to do her a favor.

Overall, If you are not watching Nickelodeon, you are missing out on something big.

Big Time Rush Review 6/19

Well I got a long quiet weekend all to myself, and what better way to spend it than to watch my Zoey 101 DVDs. What a classic show! Of course, I had to take a break from watching them to watch the new Big Time Rush which I am reviewing now.

The absence of Erin is always a negative, but Jordan sparks I actually think was a plus. The skunk plot actually ended up good. So I will let this episode pass.

Now back to the Zoey DVDs. I am presntly on disc 2 of season 3.

Big Time Rush Review 6/4

Okay as I said would happen, the Belmont was won by a horse we never heard of. Now for my Big Time Rush Review.

Of course it was great. Way to go Erin. I am proud of you as always.

one thing I forgot to mention during my Victorious review. Tori's ring tone was a rendition of the iCarly theme song, another Zoey 101 connection.

Well on Tuesday I am going down to Nashville for a day. Pray for a safe, enjoyable, and possibly productive trip, as I will see if I can find any job prospects down there.

Nick Review 6/4

Well the TV guide misled me and had iPsycho was only a half hour so I only set the recorder for 90 minutes as opposed to 2 hours. SO I only saw iPsycho, Victorious and the first part of Big Time Rush. I will catch the rest of it on the repeat tonight.

iPsycho was awesome. Possibly the best episode ever. Well maybe not, but it shows that iCarly is going to be with us for a long time to come. Ironically, i had previously thought of it as just a transitional show to keep us entertained between Zoey 101 and Victorious.

Victorious was awesome! It's Victoria Justice so it does not even have to try to be awesome. I liked the credit card subplot teaching about financial responsibility. Then there was the doohickey, the global warming mocking, the Afro and so forth. Yep the spirit of Zoey 101 lives on. You may have observed that Victorious has characters equivalent to Zoey characters, but at the same time it is not just a Zoey mimic. It puts its own stamp on the Zoey concept.

I will review Big Time Rush after I watch the rest of it tonight, but just watch the first few minutes and its already awesome, Erin of course being the reason.

In the mean time, there is the Belmont Steaks and I predict the winner will be some horse we have never heard of.

And not True Jackson, VP or The Troop tonight, but I could always do without those shows.

Awesome weekend!

True Jackson, VP review 5/22

Well you all know I do not care for True Jackson, VP but I can not brag enough about Trapped in Paris. This was an unusual case in which my expectations for the show were high and even so were surpassed. It was action packed, Gage was a pleasant surprise and Ryan finally got the girl.

The 7 secrets of Keke were good but no where near as interesting as Miranda's. Clearly a 7 secrets of Victoria and Jennette are inevitable.

I want to comment on the commercial in which the cast of Victorious talked about their experience on the show. Victoria said "I feel like the luckiest girl in the world." Well Victoria, you are indeed the luckiest girl in the world and I will tell you why. You are an awesome actor who had the privilege of staring in the greatest TV show of all time (Zoey 101) and are currently the lead on the best current show on the air. You are working with a great producer and are part of a channel that was a big part of the days when I had no care in the world. And it is a channel that I can not take access to for granted in an economy where my budget is tight and cable is expensive. I am glad you feel lucky because I would kill to have a life like yours.

True Jackson, VP review 5/15

Only one new episode tonight and it was my least favorite show in the line up. I can't say I cared for this episode but the moral does relate to me. I have had ideas that I have been excited about and they did not always turn out to be good ones.

The Paris movie next week actually looks like it should be good and so does iPsycho.

And I am actually glad there is no Triple Crown winner this year. I am glad Baffert is bak in the game and what I wand to see is Calvin freakin Borel on a Baffert horse.

Beyond Belief Review

The worst thing about having Tourettes is I can't even focus on things I enjoy without taking my meds. The doctor said I would not need them on weekends when I am not working but I can even lose focus when playing guitar or watching Nick. Midway through iCarly I had to take my meds to keep focus on the show.

Tammin Sursock and Clint Black are in Flicka 2? I of all people should have known that. Were they also in the first Flicka? I will have to see those movies.

Well I am reluctant to say anything negative about iCarly because the cast is composed of four of the greatest human beings on the planet but Big Foot is too unoriginal. Dan is probably--and should be-- spending more of his resources on Victorious.

Well first they create a show mimicking Ghostbusters (I'm referring to The Troop) then they make a Big Time Rush episode doing the same? An ectonet? A ghost vacuum? Ghost bait? It you are familiar with Ghostbusters, you must have either been laughing your head off or crying robbery.

This time only a few brief appearances by Erin. Bummer. I was hoping throughout the show she would step up and speak but it did not happen. And the other girlfriends had their fair share of the spotlight so why not Erin. Although this was not an Erin episode, I will give this episode a pass.

Victorious was very amusing. My mom was in the room and said "I can't believe you're 30 and onto this." She is not convinced that there are many other adults who watch this.

True Jackson, VP was its regular horrible self.

Again I ask why they had this beyond belief theme when it is nowhere close to halloween.

Since Victorious is not on tomorrow I will spend mothers day watching the Blackhawks with my mom. In this family, it is the women who are the sports fans.

Victorious Review 4/2

I just finished watching my recording of Victorious because I am off work this morning.

Yea Kat is awesome but I did not mind her absence. Victoria alone has the magic to make anything awesome. As a Chicagoan I was thrilled about Trina's play. Let me suggest a possible future relationship between Tori and Andre. The idea of a good supportive friend becoming a The rottenheimer line is now one of the classic lines of this show, just like Trina's "that is not a present." Yea this show is making history and we are witnessing it!

Nick review 5/1

Calvin Borel Wins the Derby again.

Why was the Troop advertised as a new episode when it wasn't? It was actually one of the better episodes but seeing it once is enough.

True Jackson, VP did give me a few laughs. It was its typical self. Nathan Kress could not hurt but he can't help either. He is a fine young man but undistinguished compared to Miranda, Jennette, Jerry or Victoria.

iCarly was great but Sam's absence was truly felt. I want to know what an air force guy is doing on a submarine.

I also want to know why next week they are doing a spook theme half a year away from Halloween. Whatever.

Victorious Review /25

Well I had a headache today so I stayed home and watched Victorious when it was on rather than have to watch it recorded.

Well everyone knows I had such high expectations for the show but it is already exceeding my expectations. Not one character/actor on the show is dead weight. Leon Thomas has particularly impressed me.

You know what I find to be and interesting coincidence. Both Victoria and Daniella are half Latina (or I am assuming Daniella is mixed because Monet is a French name) but could both pass as fully Hispanic. Yet they chose to make their characters half Latina and give them a Hispanic father and white mother.

Only thing I found disappointing about this episode was the ending when they decided to have Beyonce record the song. Like Beyonce can actually sing anything better than Victoria? Who cares about Beyonce anyway?

Well next weekend will be full of excitement. New episodes on Nick plus the Kentucky Derby. And my Derby pick is Conveyance.

Nick Review 4/24

Big Time Rush can not make it without Erin. That is no longer just my opinion, it is established fact. I had trouble keeping attention and at first I missed the ending. I was watching it recorded so I was able to rewind and see it again. I am on record for saying that Erin would eventually steal the show the same way Jaleel White stole Family matters. But even if that does not not happen they need to at least move her into the main cast. Otherwise this show is a sinking ship.

The Troop was okay by the standards of that show, which are not very high. For what it is worth, that show is at least watchable, but there is no expectation for it at all.

No new True Jackson, VP this week, but not complaints about that. Bruce has said that the writers of that show would probably be more comfortable at Disney and maybe the Disney channel is just where that show belongs.

You know, in 1995 my family took a trip to Disney World and thought is was Heaven. While there, we went to Universal Studios, where Nickelodeon Studios is. We decided it was not worth the inconvenience of leaving the Disney grounds. Ironically, I am now in the Nickelodeon camp.

Now for the seven secrets of Miranda. Over the past eight days I have become ten time the Miranda fan that I was previously. Awesome actor, singer, person and now someone I can relate to. Accomplishing the least with the guitar in the longest time honestly sounds like me, even though I like playing. Also I procrastinated to get my driver's license until I was 18 and I am no person to go to for dating advice. All I can say is Miranda, God has truly blessed you. Take what you have and run with it.

Unfortunately Victorious has to be on when I am not home so as usual I will record it and watch and review it when I can. But this show has become my new weakness. I always watch the reruns when I am home to to watch them, just like I always watched the Zoey 101 reruns.

Victorious Review 4/18

Victorious was awesome as always. I loved the Christian theme of being good to those who are bad to you. Paul says (I believe its in the book of Romans) that being good to your enemies will make your enemies ashamed of how they treat you.

But know that Tori and Jade have made up it begs the question "what now?" I think I have an answer. I think Jade will resume being mean to Tori. It will be much like the character of Valerie Malone on Beverly Hills 90210. They would frequently tease us by turning her good only to have her stab people in the back again. I think it will be this way with Jade but I hope I am wrong.

Another Zoey 101 tradition that Victorious is keeping. You may or may not notice that after the closing credits they play an audio line from the episode, something they do not do on iCarly. See I told you so. The spirit of Zoey 101 is alive and well. Zoey 101 was the shoe of the 00s and this will be the show of the 10s. The advertisement for the next episode said "the wait is finally over." Amen.

Nick review 4/17

Well I set the VCR to record The Troop and Big Time Rush While I was out Friday, but there was a stupid thing I forgot to do (stupid because I should not have to do it) so it did not record. I caught the rerun of Big Time rush but could not find a Troop rerun scheduled anywhere. So I may never see it.

Well here is what I do know about The Troop from reading the preview. Jake was suppose to be pregnant with some monster. I guess people find guys being pregnant to be funny but I don't. Why not have Haley be the pregnant one? Well let me answer my own question. You can not have a pregnant teenage girl on TV because then a bunch of girls in Massachusetts will get pregnant.

Big Time Rush was lame without Erin. They need to move Erin into the main cast or that show will fall apart. But one thing I will not take away from the guys: I like their music.

True Jackson, VP was lame. A guy dropping out of school to be an artist? I wonder where they got that idea?

Thank God for iBloopers to spice up a weekend of bland episodes. It was nice to see iCarly behind the scenes and the actors as themselves. It was a testimony to how awesome they are in real life. While iCarly may be past its peak, Miranda and Jeanette have yet to reach theirs, even if they reach it through singing instead of acting. Next weeks special about Miranda should be great.

Well I am taping Victorious tonight, so I will write my review after I get around to watching it. But should I even bother with a review. We already know every episode is going to be awesome.

Victorious Review 4/11

Well I guess TV terminology has changed. It use to be that the first episode of a series was called a series premier. Now I guess it is called a preview and the second episode is the premier.

The premier was awesome! Only the second episode and the theme song is already stuck in my head. Victoria is awesome. The cast is broad, diverse and talented enough to continue the Zoey 101 legacy. I don't even need to comment. Only complaint is the ventriloquist character, but that is easily overlooked and will surely be addressed later in the series.

So another Victoria fight coming up! First Jamie, then Miranda, now Elizabeth. Wow! iCarly is officially displaced as the best show on the TV.

Big Time Rush Review 4/2

Special thanks to Bruce Carter for bringing to my awareness that there was a new Big Time Rush episode on Friday that I missed. I caught the rerun today.

IT was awesome and as always it was Erin who made it such. The other girls also did fantastic. The girls seem to be better with this show than the guys. It might just be my male nature to think that but what seems to validate my view is that Bruce and others point out that the guys just can't make themselves stand out.

You rock Erin!

Stay Up Late Review

True Jackson, VP was so-so. The main plot was somewhat amusing. As forthe subplot, I don't like John Cena. There were two eras in my life during which I followed professional wrestling. When I last left off, the fans were booing him even though he was a face because they kept shoving him down our throats.

I know What a Girl Wants is seven years old but I am reviewing it because this was my first time seeing it. It was awesome! Amanda Bynes has a certain appeal. The movie also feature topics of my interest such as politics. It also depicts England while guns were still legal there. The plot was awesome.

Happy Easter. He is risen!

Nick Review 3/27

Well the KCA's was so entertaining! I had so much fun watching. Congratulations to all the winners and even to those who did not win congratulations just for being nominated!

And Victorious was just as awesome as anticipated. Go Victoria!

Thoughts on Victorious

On Saturday, March 27, Nickelodeon will premier the new show Victorious. The show will star Victoria Justice of Zoey 101 fame and be produced by Dan Schnieder, who produced such shows as Zoey 101, iCarly and Drake and Josh.

I did not discover Zoey 101 until just after it had ended production and was all reruns. It quickly became my favorite show and was hoping for a fifth season, although it was doubtful due to Jamie Lynn Spears becoming a mother. Then an idea for the next best thing was proposed: a spin-of with Victoria Justice Reprising her role as Lola. Since Victoria was the number 2 girl on the show, she was ideal for passing the torch to. But then it was decided that Victoria would play a different character altogether. But I was not disappointed. I already know its going to be good because its Victoria Justice and this will still be the show that carries on the legacy of Zoey101.

In the meantime, iCarly has dominated kid TV and Victoria has made guest appearances on various Nick shows. It has been two long years since Zoey 101 ended and am so psyched that the show I have waited all that time for is fianlly starting. I am rooting for Victorious to topple iCarly (though I still love that show) as the top sow and my champion Victoria Justice to carry Nickelodeon's torch.

Thoughts on the KCA's

One thing I like about the Kid's choice awards is that it is fan voted. I consider fan voted shows more legitimate than panel voted shows. With panel voted shows, the panelists should be unbias, voting for who they think had the most successful year rather than their personal favorite, but that is not how it is. And I am not voting because I am not a kid nor will I pose as one. But I will share my thoughts on the categories I care about. One thing I learned from last years awards is that candidates from the Disney camp can get their share of awards, even though most of the voters should be from Nickelodeon's fan base.

iCarly will and should win the show of the year award. It has shocked the world by clobbering the likes of Jonas Brothers and Hannah Montana in the ratings.

Miranda Cosgrove unarguably deserves female actor of the year. She is an accomplished actor with an enviable resume, stars on the number one teen show on the air and still has good potential for her future. But who will win? Well I think Miley Cyrus is past her peak but between the other three it is a toss up. But next year, this one will go to Victoria Justice.

For singer, since I a a zealous country fan I am rooting for Taylor Swift and her song "You Belong With Me."

For Female athlete, I can care less. I would go with Danica Patrick as I jumped on the Danicamania bandwagon a few years ago. But why can't she win the 500? I have watched the 500 only twice and only because of her and why can't she win?

Well it has never been a better time to be a fan of Nickelodeon. Fasten your seat belts! We are approaching the dawning of the Age of Victorious.

Nick Review 3/20

Tonight's lineup was a conclusion of a day that went totally different than planned, but I will not go into the details.

iCarly I think would have gone bad if it could have. Something saved it but I can't put my finger on it.

True Jackson, VP needs no comment.

The Troop was good. What makes a Troop episode good is when it has Walker Texas Ranger type action and I hope the producers catch on to that.

Big Time Rush did very well despite Erin's absence. So now that they have the record deal, where do we go from here?

Well I will now make two more posts on my thoughts concerning the upcoming Victorious and the Kid's choice awards.

Saturday, March 13, 2010

Nick Review 3/13

Well I have the same thing to say about both True Jackson, VP and The Troop: they were both Horrible!

Well next week we have a new everything to prpare us for the KCA's then it's Victorious!

Nick Review 3/5

With "iSpace Out" first advertised weeks i advance, I was wondering why they did not push it aggressively. Now I see why. It was a good episode but just a normally good episode. The advertisements were very misleading. But a new interesting twist: Spencer's father has now idea he dropped out of law school.

Big Time Rush was flawless. Obviously you can't go wrong with Erin, but that is just the beginning of it. Every plot--there were four of them-- was entertaining.

And so the road to Victorious continues.

Big Time Rush Review 2/26

Well the only new episode this week is the Big Time Rush episode. And I am not even working this weekend. First Saturday off in a while and not much to do with it.

Mark my word. You heard this from me first. Erin will end up stealing this show in the same way Jaleel White stole Family Matters. Steve Earkle was not suppose to be the star of that show but his popularity made him such. Everyone thinks this show needs Erin.

I am just starting to absorb this show. One thing I like about watching Nickelodeon is that the shows take me back to when I did not have a care in the world. In this case you have four guys who care about nothing but getting girls. The guy who plays the CEO is very good. As an economic conservative, I like to for once see a CEO who is not a villain. It is like I find every aspect of the show interesting except the stars.

Well one more month to go until Victorious. I can hardly wait. In the mean time, next week we have iCarly in space and more of Erin on Big Time Rush.

School Gyrls Review

I did manage to watch School Gyrls before I left, though I taped Drumline since I never saw it. I will watch it when I get the chance.

School Gyrls was horrible. It was boring and I saw no potential in the actors--which s why I hope this was not intended as a promotion for any of the actors. At least they did not spend months promoting it because it would not have been worth it.

It was about this time a year ago when I was all hyped for Spectacular, and it was spectacular indeed. I can not say anything close to the same for School Gyrls.

However, I gained a lot of respect for Gage, Victoria, Keke, Robbie, Ashley and Nathan, It was a sacrifice of dignity for them to attend the party and appear during thee intermissions.

Nick Review 2/20

Okay, I should have known that the Trimmy relationship would end up in hold. Not that that would help the show. I do not have high expectations for this show. And please no more wedding business. We have already had one wedding episode. I can't stand weddings.

I do not know what to think of The Troop. About a third of the way through I predicted that the monster was Mr. Stockley and he was trying to get the Troop to destroy each other. Then there was the King Solomon outcome. In case you are Bible ignorant, the story is two women were claiming to be the mother of a baby and King Solomon decided to cut the baby in half and give one half to each woman. The real mother then conceded to let the other have the baby have the child and that led Solomon to conclude that she was the real mother. So the monster tries to use that ploy to fool Haley ito shooting them both. I expected Haley to say that was how she determined the real Jake. But then she said it was the grammar? I don't know.

Now let me throw out a question for debate on the inevitable. Who will Haley eventually get with, Jake or Felix? It is going to happen.

So we have the School Gyrls movie tomorrow. I will not be home so I will have to tape it. And then with my work schedule I may not get to watch it until next weekend.

Nick Review 2/13

I have decided it is necessary to change the format my review titles. I have previously titled my reviews with all the titles of the shows with slashes between the titles and then the date. That makes it long now that Nick has four current shows and a fifth one on the way. I will now title my reviews "Nick Review" followed by the date.

I will start with iCarly. The cut parts were very good but I do not see the point. Why couldn't hey have showed the uncut version in the first place?

Erin Sanders is the safety net of Big Time Rush. Any episode with here will be good. Any episode without her will be subject to suck. So did this episode manage well without her? Well I,m sorry but a house sitting plot is not original, although I did find the mom coming to the rescue rather interesting.

Well it looks like I get a break from True Jackson, VP and The Troop this week. There was curiously no Victorious ad during these shows, but that could be for a good reason. I think there is such a thing as over pushing it as I saw with "iFight Shelby Marx." In the mean time, we have an iCarly episode in space coming up. We shall see how that goes.

Secret Crush Weekend Review

Awesome weekend of shows. Can Dan surpass my expectations or can he surpass my surpass my expectations. iCarly was hilarious and intense. The Gibby-Tasha plot is interesting and has potential. And they brought back Veronica which was a great idea. She is Spenser's most popular
girlfriend.

Big Time Rush was awesome enough if do not take Erin into account, but as far as I am concerned the show is about her and she was the icing on the cake.

True Jackson, VP was good. Okay I don't hate True Jackson, VP but compared to the other shows it sticks out like a soar thumb. Ashley Argota needs her own show and I think she will get her own show eventually.

The Troop was great. With Victoria Justice, what could go wrong.

Speaking of Victoria, they finally started advertising Victorious. The commercial has already confirmed what I have already known all along: that show will be so awesome it will be better than iCarly. I can't wait.

iCarly/Big Time Rush/True Jackson, VP/The Trooop Review 1/30

Well I I taped iCarly and Big Time Rush since I was out doing The Lord's work and watched it the next day.

Both plots on iCarly were excelent, but I guess the guys had to blow getting the chicks since that happened on every other show the other week. The prospect of Seddie is still alive. Also I did hear the name Quinn Pensky in the background, though she made no appearance. So Bruce, are you hapy now?

Big Time Rush was good. I am not sure I would honestly be saying the same thing if not for Erin's appearance, but I will always be hapy to see Erin getting exposure. But I was pleased with the theme agains prejudice.

True Jackson, VP is back to its old horrible self.

The Troop had just the kind of action packed intensity that I like in a show.

Overall, great weekend.

The Troop/Big Time Rush Review 1/23

Well I like The Troop. I liked The Troop? I can't believe what I am writing. I think the world is coming to an end. Well here is what it could be. I have said before that Zoey 101 got me into Nickelodeon. But also Prior to Zoey there was a long period where I was not much of a TV person. The last time a have been to a movie theater was Walk the Line (2005) and that was my first time being at a theater since Robin Hood: Men in Tights (1993). I have had the attitude that they do not make movies and TV shows as good as they use to. I guess now that I am getting into them I am learning to like them.

Big Time Rush was hysterical. I was glad to finally see Erin Sanders and I am glad she had a very big part in the episode. With the glasses, it was Quinn's look on Lola's character. Great job Erin!

icarly/Big Time Rush Review 1/18

"iSaved You Life" was well executed and yet they still kept the anticipation alive. That is all I have to say about that. Big Time Rush was also good.

True Jackson, VP/The Troop Review 1/16

Well you have heard me rant about how bad True Jackson, VP is. For once, I actually had high expectations for last nights episode and was disappointed. The detention plot was good, but the fire marshal shut-down plot did not have a dramatic ending. And what was Ryan thinking when he decided not to carry out his sabatoge plan to get Kelsi?

Now for The Troop. For the second episode in a row the boss is out. Where is the creativity in the writing? And like in True Jackson, the guy blew getting the girl. Was this "guy blows getting the chick night?"

Well looking forward to iSaved your life, I am hoping Carly and Freddie get together, but it is probably too obvious. The question now is how Nickelodeon will manage heir time slots with Big Time Rush and Victorious. I wish they would dump The Troop and True Jackson and give them those time slots, but that is not going to happen. I am thinking they will put Victorious on Mondays, back to back with Big Time Rush. We shall see.

Just Jennette Review

Well how can you go wrong with Jennette McCurdy.

Well the iCarly episode was a rerun and I have reviewed that one so I will just say that is my favorite non-movie episode.

True Jackson, VP has done some good episodes lately but I sill wish that show would go away. Well Jennette was good and if there is one reason to continue that show it should be the plot of Ryan chasing Kelsey. I would love to see where that winds up. And then there was the plot of the teacher doing multiple jobs due to budget cuts. School budget cuts is something that I as a teacher see first hand.

The Troop episode was fairly good by the standards of that show, but I hate that show. There is no logic to it.

Well let's just look forward to "iSaved Your Life" and Big Time Rush.

iHave My Principals Review

Well I missed the iCarly episode of "iHave My Principals" when i premiered, so I caught the rerun tonight. Now I know what I missed. Thank God for Dan Schneider and everyone else standing up to those waring against individuality. Look at everything this episode featured:

1. Someone losing his job for something he does on the internet.
2. School Uniforms.
3. Someone being profiled and punished for who they are (being too Gibby).

You go Dan!
